Allison Dagney lives in the midwest of the United States with her three children and their beloved rescue dog. Allison never aspired to be an author or a coach, but her love of writing paired with an inspirational story, was the perfect recipe to expose hidden emotional abuse and help others. In this gripping true life story, Allison aims to shed light into the darkest areas of abusive relationships while giving victims of abuse a beacon of hope and a roadmap for healing.
Allison's desire is to expose the insidiousness of covert emotional abuse through sharing her own personal story. Victims and survivors alike are the inspiration behind the book and her coaching business. Allison is raising awareness and helping others heal from their emotional wounds. It is Allison's core belief that everyone can find the inner peace, relief and emotional empowerment that she herself has discovered!
Allison still has minor children and she is keeping her true identity private to protect her innocent children. She also knows that when you expose abuse, that could lead to major backlash, costly litigation and time spent in the court room because of angry parties. She wants to spend her time focusing on helping other people so concealing her identity will help stave off legal woes. However, if you get on a clarity call or become a client of Allison's you'll always be face to face on a Zoom call so you can feel as comfortable with your coach as possible!
YES! Allison is in process of writing her next book. It will be focused on the healing journey after the abuse. It's been requested by several readers of When Tears Leave Scars so Allison will be delivering on that request.
Allison was determined to heal from the poison leftover from emotional abuse. She tried so many different things and spent years plus thousands of dollars in therapy. She finally came across subconscious reprogramming through a Podcast called "Your Light is your Legacy" (formerly Return to You, by Dianah Johnson). Allison reached out to Dianah and started implementing the suggested techniques and her world began to change. She decided this was something she needed to bring to as many survivors of emotional abuse as possible because of the amazing results she achieved for herself. She has been coaching women ever since and helping them achieve the same life changing relief she herself received from this work.
Before becoming an Emotional Healing Coach, Allison obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Interpersonal Communication. She worked in the corporate world for 5 years (prior to becoming a stay at home mom) as a successful Human Resources Employee at a Fortune 500 Company. She has experience working with a variety of people and experience in interviewing and interpersonal relations. Allison has always described herself as a "People Person" and her number one priority is serving her clients.
